September TBR- Help!

Hi! September is starting tomorrow and I've had a great idea for a TBR recently. Because most schools start in September, I decided to encourage myself, I'd read books set in boarding schools for the month of September. However, I will still be reading some random choices as well. This month, I will be choosing a boarding-school book for the following categories: middle grade, young adult, and classics. But I'm not sure which books to choose for each category. I would love it if my blog readers could comment on this post and let me know which books you think I should choose. I'd love your opinion! (: Here are the options...

Middle Grade
  • Princess Academy by Shannon Hale
  • The School for Good and Evil by Soman Chainani
  • The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart (re-read)
  • Point Blank by Anthony Horowitz (re-read)
Young Adult
  • I'd Tell You I Love You, and Then I'd Have to Kill You by Ally Carter
  • Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
  • Academy 7 by Anne Osterlund
  • Etiquette and Espionage by Gail Carriger
  • Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins
  • The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
  • Heist Society by Ally Carter
Classics
  • Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
  • A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett
As you can see, I have many YA options, especially compared to the others. If I'm missing an amazing book, please comment! But please don't recommend House of Night or Fallen. Please! Thanks for reading. (:

  1. I'll help! For middle grade, I would pick something new, so you should read one of the non-re-reads. For YA, I recommend VA because it's one of my favorite series. The Raven Boys and the Ally Carter book are both pretty good. As for classics, I loved Jane Eyre. That one is a great book.

I hope this helps and I hope you enjoy whatever ones you end up choosing!

    1. Thanks so much!

Something news sounds great; If The School for Good and Evil comes in for me from the library, I think I'll choose that one!

As for YA, I've heard awesome things about Vampire Academy. If I have time, I'd love to try those other options.

I have been super excited to read Jane Eyre, so it's great to hear you enjoyed it!

Thanks SO much for your help and for reading my blog! (:

  2. You probably know what i'm going to say, but i'll still comment. Lol. I vote Princess Academy because i don't know whether or not to read it and i would love your insight! As for YA... Etiquette and Espionage!!! I loved it!!! And just a side note, Heist Society isn't very boarding schoolish. It's only like that for the first 10 pages or so. I don't really care which classic because i'm interested in both and i hsven't read either of them. So yeah.... Sorry, i was going to comment earlier but i couldn't sign in as myself!

    1. Okay, one vote for Princess Academy it is! I'll have to see what the library chooses then I guess! :P

I will remember that about Heist Society, but it seems like a quick read, so I'll probably read it this month anyway. (guilty face... is there even one of those?) Etiquette and Espionage is something I've been meaning to read for ages, so I think I will pick that one up as well!

Thanks for your comments and taking the time to help me out. (:
